Thread: Will my zune only play videos from the zune marketplace?

Why can't I get any of my converted videos to my zune? Will it only accept ones from the marketplace? I had some mpegs of south park I downloaded and i wanted to watch them on my zune. So, I dug around and found a converter that would convert to mp4 and wmv, the main file types for video accepted by zune.Why won't the converted files show up in my collection? How do you even add a video to zune?

You can convert any video to zune video. You can find tons of freeware to do this. Try going to google and typing ".avi to zune"".mov to zune" ... type what ever file type to zune. The zune software will play / convert mp4 videos and some avi and wmp files as long as it's not encoded in DivX or some other codec.

well no you can have any video on that you want by getting freeware online and to add it you have to go to file ,importfile and search for the file you want.
